This week, I decided I wanted to make something that I have never made on my own, but I always like it when I have it at home. When I went grocery shopping, I decided to buy some salmon and make that for a dinner this week. I wanted to try a new recipe as well, so I looked up salmon recipes and found one that looked easy and tasty. It uses butter, brown sugar, oregano, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and minced garlic. After melting the butter, I mixed all of these ingredients together in a bowl, then poured it over top of the piece of salmon. It then went in the oven for about 15 minutes. When I took it out, it was ready. I also decided to make some potatoes as a side. For those, I just let them boil in water until I was able to poke my fork through and have the potato fall off easily. Then I added a very small amount of butter to them with a little bit of salt and pepper. This meal was super easy, and it was very nice to have something new and a change from what I normally eat.
