My name is Sarah Tedford, and I am starting my third year in the Elementary Education Program at the University of Victoria. I am from Richmond, BC, but moved to Victoria for the school year. I have always enjoyed working with children and I want to be able to help them learn and grow. I would like to become a teacher because I want to be a role model for my students, be someone they can look up to, and be someone that helps shape them into who they are becoming. I want my students to enjoy school and I want to teach them in a way that helps them stay engaged and wanting to learn. I also love being outside, travelling, spending time with my friends and family, and playing basketball.
